How to Play Seven (Sedma / Sedmice)
Seven is a fast-paced trick-taking card game popular across Central and Eastern Europe.
The objective is to win valuable cards, score round points, and become the first player
to reach 7 game points with at least a 2-point lead.
🃏 Dealing & Drawing Cards
Each player receives 4 cards. The remaining cards form the draw pile.
After every trick, players draw new cards in winner-first order until the draw pile is empty.
🎯 Leading a Trick
The player who leads may play any card. This card determines the suit of the trick.
♠ Playing a Card
You are free to play any card. Unlike many trick-taking games,
following suit is not mandatory.
🏅 Winning the Trick
Sevens are always trump cards. The player who plays the last trump wins the trick.
The winner leads the next trick.
📈 Scoring
Aces and Tens are worth 1 point each.
If the score is tied, the winner of the final trick receives the deciding point.
Bonus round points are awarded for special achievements:
- 16er – Capture all scoring cards and points.
- 24er – Capture all 24 cards in the round.
The first player to reach at least 7 game points with a
2-point lead wins the match.
